School has started! Fall is almost here! Yesterday was Bonkers' 18th Birthday! Guess what? Today is Darkwing Duck's 20th Birthday! Happy Birthday to my two favorite Disney Shows!!!
Bonkers is a syndicated animated tv show which aired 18 years ago yesterday on September 6, 1993. It ended on August 30, 1996. That means it went on for three years! Also 18 years ago, there two Pilot episodes, Going Bonkers and Gone Bonkers. Bonkers becomes an off-the-wall, wildly ethusiastic recruit for the Hollywood Police Department-Toon Division. He had two partners in the series, Miranda Wright and Lucky Piquel. The tv series only had 65 episodes. But the only two episodes that were taking off the air was New Partners on the Block and Fall Apart Bomb Squad. It was some pretty bad episodes but good memories. I wished that Bonkers was on DVD. And I wished that Bonkers was back on the Disney Channel again. He was last seen on Toon Disney and then was then vanished in 2004. We gotta bring him back to tv and put him on DVD.
Who is the Terror that flaps in the night?
If you guessed Darkwing Duck....you are correct!!! He is the Terror that flaps in the night! Darkwing Duck aired 20 years ago today on September 7, 1991. The show ended on September 11, 1993 but returned to syndication on September 2, 1996 through August 29, 1997. Darkwing Duck is the #1 in tv series but he is now #1 in comic books! I finally got 15 issues of the brand new Darkwing Duck comic books. When average citizen Drake Mallard dons a mask, hat, and cape, he becomes a swashbuckling crimebuster, Darkwing Duck. He has friends who help him out such as the clueless sidekick, Launchpad McQuack, and his orphan daugter/niece Gosalyn. Darkwing Duck is on DVD but I wished volume 3 would come out.
Happy Birthday Bonkers and Darkwing Duck
I hope each and everyone of you has a safe and happy Fall!
Love,
